★★★★★ FIRST app I've found that allows cross-platform synchronization to plain text notes WITH offline access, and WITHOUT the use of services beyond Dropbox. On the Windows side: #1 Set a desktop shortcut to the Dropbox folder. #2 Modify properties > target and enter C:\Windows\explorer.exe, followed by the full path of the folder. The resulting File Explorer instance can be pinned to BOTH the Start Menu and the Taskbar. The windows text editor can be defaulted to anything you want.
★★★★★ I've been using Simple Text for years to sync and edit my plain text/markdown notes on the go
★★☆☆☆ Big mistake: you cant select a text after change paragraph, you are being forced to select all.
★★☆☆☆ There is a bug where, if you write at the top of a text document, the app automatically scrolls down to the end of the document. Then, if you start writing, it focuses back to the place you're at, only to go back to the end of the document men when you stop writing, even fire a second. This makes it impossible to write anything, making the app unusable. This is too bad because if this huge bug wasn't there, it's a great app
