Description by GadgetJudge(from Google Play)
What is Simplest Reminder? It is the easiest to use reminder application in the whole Google Play Store.
What does it do? Simplest Reminder allows you to quickly set a single or recurring reminder in as few steps as possible. When the time comes your phone or tablet will remind you about your task.
What features does it have? - No advertisement - Dark Theme - Popup Dialog - LED light notifications - Recurring reminders. Choose between daily, weekly, monthly, annually, weekdays(Mon-Fri), weekends(Sat-Sun), - Custom recurrence interval such as 2 hours, 3 days or 5 weeks etc to suit the needs of your busy schedule - Custom Snooze duration - Import and Export. This can be used as a backup or to transfer reminders to the Pro version or to another device. - Option to either delete or deactivate reminder on notification swipe - New Time and Date Pickers inspired by Google Calendar's pickers - Self-repeating reminders. Reminder will repeat itself every 10 minutes so you don't miss it. This can be enabled or changed in Settings - Single occurrence reminders can be deactivated and reused at later time - Swipe notification away to dismiss recurring reminder
What makes it better than other reminder apps? Creating a reminder only takes few seconds, and you do not have to customize tens of options for each reminder. In contrast to other reminder applications mine does not require almost any permissions, because I respect your privacy. (The only permission needed is access to storage so you can export and import reminders)
Is it easy to use? The main goal of this application is simplicity. It allows you to create a simple reminder in as few steps as possible. At the minimum you need to provide time and press OK button. That's all. Optionally you can add description, date and recurrence but they are not required.
Can I customize anything? Absolutely! You can choose a theme, specify notification sound, vibration, and vibration pattern. You can also enable/disable popup dialog, LED light, and swipe to delete/deactivate a reminder. You can also change intervals for snooze and self-repeating reminders.
It all sounds great but can I try it for free first? Yes you can. I have free version available in the Play store under the name: Simplest Reminder
IMPORTANT: If you use any Task Manager or Battery Optimizer please add Simplest Reminder Pro to the Ignored/White/Excluded List. Otherwise Simplest Reminder Pro may not work. On Android 6 and up please disable battery optimization in Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization
RATINGS: If you find any issues with my app please email me instead of rating 1 star. I will do what I can to solve the issue and I will reply to every email.
Fine print: Thanks to each and everyone of you who has bought this app while it was just a donation version without any extra features. Your interest and appreciation of my hard work has motivated and encouraged me to keep working on this reminder application, to deliver new and awesome features. I hope you enjoy them!
Recent changes: Fixed bug from previous release where reminders were repeated until attended even if the settings wasn't enabled.

★★★★★
This a very simple reminder app. Using it frees me from cluttering my calendar. I use it as a medication reminder. My only suggestion would be able to have different sounds for different reminders. I take one med at a certain time and another later. Different sounds would allow me to differentiate. All in all, a great app.

I have a Samsung tablet on Android 5 and works great. Simple and flexible. Like the inactivate feature. Saves time for seldom used reminders that I can use later without setting up again.

This used to work so well! Now, on my OnePlus 3T running Oreo, it is missing all the reminders. I get reminders at all sorts of weird hours and I missed paying a bill because the reminder did not fire at the right time!

Used to be 5 stars but doesn't work on Android 11. I tried reinstalling, making sure it was excluded from battery optimization, and emailing the developer who never answered. I guess it's time to replace it because I don't think it's going to get fixed.
★★☆☆☆
Perfect app for me, except for the fact that I couldn't get it to work properly on my main device - Huawei P8 Lite with Android 6.0. Some reminders go off on time, others late and some never. On an older Galaxy S3 with Android 4.3 it works perfectly. The developer was kind enough to suggest a solution by e-mail. Unfortunately, it did not work. Maybe a future version will be more compatible with my device, at which point I'll be willing to change my rating to the deserved 5 stars.

No longer usable. Has been an essential part of my life! Was even better with the choice of snooze time every time a reminder goes off. I soon got used to tapping the box I want - 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes; 2, 4, 8 or 12 hours. (You could also put your own exact time, too, if you liked - even days!) Lived up to its claim of being the 'simplest reminder'. Sadly, no longer being updated (2019) so doesn't work on the latest phones. But big thanks to the developer for the years of usefulness!
