Comments on Simply Guitar - Learn Guitar for Android

★★★★☆ Alban Brandmeir · Aug 13, 2026

I like the lessons, and can play a few songs off memory however I have a guitar with a built-in tuner and either my built-in tuner is wrong or the app is wrong they usually conflict each other when I go to tune every once in a while I overall like the app, and I feel the subscription is entirely worth it

★★★★☆ Sarah H · Sep 6, 2026

I love the app but when I was finally going to play my first song it wants me to pay a subscription. Also, when tuning it you can't have any other sound around you and it's kinda difficult

★★★★☆ Debbie jean Burroughs · Aug 7, 2026

Hi. I subscribed for the one month. It's now debited me for a second month!!!

★★★★★ Theresa Llamas · Sep 4, 2026

I Teach my Self on How too Used our Guitars on my Brothers Bedrooms it's a Great I can Adjust the Sound True Connecting it in my Phone I Practice it If I'm not too Busy I Want to Learn a New Instruments I Love Playing a Guitar

★☆☆☆☆ Yan · Oct 1, 2026

I would give this app a better review because I actually learned something, but it just sucks. You have to pay for it to teach songs, I had to play the wrongs strings for the app to continue, and it would half the time just not pick up that I was playing the guitar

★☆☆☆☆ Charlie Keeney · Aug 27, 2026

Mishears chords and notes, and the built-in tuner is awful will tell beginners to tighten their strings everg day until they snap.

★☆☆☆☆ PackagedSpy9597 · Aug 4, 2026

When learning songs and their chords the app randomly decides that you are good to go to the next section and doesn't let you practice at all. Every single time I open the chords section before the main song it just tells me that I played the chords correctly before my fingers even touch the strings. Then it plunges you straight into a song that will be out of your skill range because it won't let you practice with the on-screen notes.

I tried tuning and my string broke tuning tool on this app sucks sorry not sorry
