Sippd: Wine for Your Palate

★★★★★ I'm a big fan of untapped and how it allows me to track beers I like. I've been exploring more wines recently and was looking for a similar app for wine... Sippd is it! I like seeing my wine matches, tracking my drinks, and seeing my friends on the app.

★★★★★ This app is fantastic! Not only can you log wine, but Sippd learns about your taste to suggest bottles at restaurants and online. I didn't buy wine online because the market is overwhelming, but the Sippd plugin helps find great bottles based on my taste that I never would have discovered locally. The menu scanning feature is also super helpful, especially when dining with friends. You easily get info and recommendations on every bottle! It's not just a catalog, it's like a personal homelier.

★★☆☆☆ Love the idea and the interface. However, looks like there is a bug searching for wines. Will not show what you are typing in the search field. Making searching for wines impossible. If that was fixed, yes a higher rating.

★★☆☆☆ I downloaded the app but could not complete my profile as it only accepts US Zip codes, but I live in Ireland. So I am assuming that it doesn't support decision-making outside the US. The description should have mentioned that, so I wouldn't waste my time. I eagerly await introduction to a wider market because it does sound like a great concept.
