Maintaining productive and healthy habits is a matter of survival. Well, in real life it's not quite that dramatic, but with Skillix we hope to turn mundane routines into something more exciting.

Your daily walk is now a scavenging mission. Your weekend cleaning turns from a simple chore into a way to develop the camp. Every run, study session, programming practice, and completed routine develops your character, builds your settlement, grows your resources, extends your streak - and, most importantly, strengthens your habits.

How does it work? Simple. First, you pick the 'skills' - activities like walking, running, studying, cleaning - that you want to turn into habits (we're constantly adding new skills based on community suggestions). Next, you start a mission while starting the associated activity in real life. Based on the time spent on the activity - and the associated mission - you level up your character and earn resources for your settlement.

Skillix is a gamified RPG productivity app and habit builder, designed around self-discipline. You complete missions in a post-apocalyptic setting where your fully customizable character and settlement grow alongside your own focus and consistency.

🔵 What makes Skillix different
There are plenty of other great productivity apps on the market that use gamification, some of which we have used ourselves. We simply decided to build Skillix differently, with more emphasis on the time you spend on activities, different gameplay mechanics and an ethical approach.
🔹 Actual in-game progress powered by your daily productivity: every skill you train earns you EXP and resources;
🔹 You start with a camp that, over time, grows into a thriving settlement;
🔹 Your character is fully customizable, with many body and clothing options;
🔹 We created a unique post-apocalyptic survival setting without grim themes, violence, or heavy stuff. Instead, we went for relaxing, uplifting, warm tones.

Skillix was created by a privacy lawyer, which is part of why we have always maintained certain ethical principles during development.
💚 No pay-to-win - you can't buy progress. No unethical monetization. No dark patterns nudging you to spend.
💚 Core functionality is free, forever. You can purchase a Skillix+ subscription to help us develop the app further, but that's entirely optional. You can also earn premium currency (for customization items) just by playing and progressing.
💚 All designs and art are created entirely by humans. Outside of that, we use AI only for inspiration, research and proof-reading, with extensive human review.
💚 No intrusive, manipulative, or personalized ads. You can turn ads off completely (and unlock extra bonuses) with Skillix+, which costs about as much as a coffee per month.
💚 Genuinely privacy focused. Don't want an account? You don't need one. And if you make one, you can delete it (along with every bit of data tied to it) anytime. We do not sell your personal data. We do not build advertising profiles from your habits.

🚀 Freshly launched
After 2.5 years of hard work and a successful Kickstarter campaign, we finally launched Skillix in June 2026. We're improving it quickly with community feedback, so bug reports and suggestions are genuinely welcome!
