L’app permette ai lettori dei cataloghi e ai visitatori delle mostre di SKIRA, una casa editrice con sede a Milano, di ricevere più informazioni sugli artisti e le loro opere. Integrata nell’app, una funzione di Augmented Reality (AR) serve per espandere la mostra e il suo catalogo offrendo ulteriori contenuti multimediali. Aprendo la funzione di AR, la fotocamera viene attivata. Il visitatore rivolge la fotocamera sulle immagini della mostra. Appena la fotocamera riconosce l’immagine, l’app apre i contenuti. In tal modo, il visitatore scopre ulteriori informazioni durante la sua visita. Nello stesso modo, il lettore del catalogo rivisita una parte della mostra da casa e scopre nuovi contenuti usando l’app in combinazione con il catalogo. Aprendo l’app, il visitatore può scegliere tra diverse categorie di temi e approfondire le sue conoscenze sui temi associati. The app allows readers of the exhibition catalogues as well as visitors of the exhibitions of SKIRA, a Milan based publishing firm, to receive more information about artists and their masterpieces. Integrated in the app, an augmented reality (AR) function serves to expand the exhibition and its catalogue offering additional multimedia content. By opening the AR function, the camera is activated. The visitor simply points the camera at images of the exhibition. As soon as the camera detects the image an augmented content is displayed. Thus, the visitor discovers additional information during their visit. In the same way, the reader of the catalogue revisits from home parts of the exhibition and discovers new content using the app in combination with the catalogue. By opening the app, the user can also choose between different subject categories and deepen their knowledge about the associated subject. Additionally, they are always informed about the latest news about exhibitions and books by SKIRA.
