Skopos

Discover what's above you with Skopos, your companion for exploring the sky.

From a bright planet to a passing satellite, a nearby aircraft or an upcoming rocket launch, Skopos brings astronomy, aviation and spaceflight into one place.

EXPLORE THE SKY
Point your phone skyward to explore stars, constellations, planets, the Sun and Moon with an augmented reality sky overlay. Find satellites, including the International Space Station, and tap objects to learn more.

FOLLOW ROCKET LAUNCHES
Browse upcoming missions, explore launch sites on a map and view launch details. Check estimated visibility from your viewing location to help plan where and when to look.

DISCOVER NEARBY AIRCRAFT
See aircraft around your location on a map and in the sky view. Explore available flight details, routes and aircraft photographs.

PLAN YOUR NIGHT
Use the Tonight planner to explore ISS passes, planet viewing opportunities, meteor showers and other celestial events. Check Sun and Moon rise and set times, add supported events to your calendar and choose event reminders.

CHECK VIEWING CONDITIONS
Review weather and cloud forecasts to help decide when to head outside and what you may be able to see.

YOU CONTROL PERMISSIONS
Choose whether to allow location, camera and notification access. Location supports local sky and nearby-data features; the camera provides the live sky-view background. Skopos does not save or upload the camera feed. Read the in-app privacy policy for details about external data services and local storage.

TRIAL AND LIFETIME ACCESS
Sign in with Google to activate an optional 30-day trial, with no automatic charge. Unlock lifetime access through a one-time Google Play purchase, with no subscription or recurring charges. Restore eligible purchases using your account. Feature access pauses when the trial ends unless lifetime access is purchased; settings, privacy information and support remain available. Internet access is required for sign-in, purchases and periodic access verification.

Live data and forecasts depend on internet access and provider coverage. Launch schedules can change, and visibility estimates depend on conditions. Sky alignment depends on your device's sensors and calibration.
