I absolutely love the skylight, and it has helped my kids manage their chores so much better. You can make lists, chores, and assign appointments to each member of the family. This helps with doctor's appointments, school meetings, workshops, and budgets.

Absolutely love our skylight and the app. This has been a game changer for our family with all the school reminders, after school activities and social events. We love the routines and chores and reward system. My favorite feature is the meal planning and that I can take a photo of a recipe in my favorite cookbook, and it appears in my meal plan for the week as a recipe.

The app needs a phone widget option to be able to look at the family calendar at a glance the same way you can see it on the actual frame. If I'm not home in front of the frame I have to click several times to get to the calendar in the app. It also has major syncing issues. No matter how many times I try to sync it doesn't show everything. Please fix! Also, most of the features are additional money per month to use. Would not buy again and do not recommend.

The Skylight Max shows promise, but it falls short on basic photo functionality. Surprisingly, photos that don’t fit the frame’s aspect ratio can’t be cropped or adjusted on the device. Instead, you must delete, edit on your phone, and re-upload them—a tedious process for a digital picture frame company.

For the most part, I love the actual Skylight calendar, but I am very turned off that you can only use many of the features with a subscription. I'm particularly angry, that some of the features that I used to be able to use (such as Reward section) is now subscription based when it used to be just an included part of the calendar. I honestly wouldn't recommend the company. I feel cheated that features are being taken away and charged for when I already paid $300.
