The best star map app out there. Stellarium is amazing too and for desktop it's tellurium. But on mobile, Sky Safari is on another level. If you're not very knowledgeable about astronomy, just know that Sky Safari is widely considered the best.

Love Sky Safari 7 Plus. I use the telescope control with Astro Devices Nexus. The accuracy is incredible. I've seen so many things in the night sky. Notifications re ISS passing overhead and details about objects via the info function is just brilliant.

Have used this app for years even when it was called Sky Voyager. I use when on the observing field to get real time data. The screen you can change into night mode (red) tons of features.

The website claims it supports a wired connection. There is no option to connect my Electron EQ mount via the USB hand controller to Android (USB-C to Mini) cable I am using. Wi-Fi or Bluetooth only despite what the website claims.

This app sells itself as turnkey method to control electron scopes. It doesn't work on my Evolution C8. Additional downloads and some tweaking of network settings are needed to control the various scopes - they are not included in the app but need downloading after purchase. I'm not a tech guru, so it's not for me.

For some reason the app is misaligned. When pointing my phone to the sky the objects on the screen are always quite a distance from reality. This makes it quite difficult to identify objects in the sky with the app.

I bought this android app to use its Compass function to set up the polar alignment for my star tracker. It worked fine at the beginning on my Samsung S24 Ultra, but it didn't work after a few uses. Occasionally, it worked again, very frustrating! What could go wrong? The same issue with another user on his Samsung S25 Ultra. What could go wrong with this app?

App locks up after connecting to telescope with sky watcher synscan. Sometimes causes the telescope to move in a particular direction indefinitely until I shut it off
