Slate TV Launcher: Clean Home

Slate replaces the cluttered Android TV / Google TV home with a fast, clean, ad-free launcher: your apps in your order, one cinematic featured pick, and nothing you didn't choose. Formerly Aura Launcher.

WHY PEOPLE SWITCH
• No ads, no sponsored rows, no autoplay trailers. Just your apps and what you were watching.
• Fast: opens the moment you press Home and keeps up with your remote.
• Yours: favourites first, apps in tidy categories, the sidebar as icons, with labels, or hidden until you press Left.

WHAT YOU GET
• A calm home: a featured pick up top, "For you" suggestions that change with the time of day, and Continue Watching that remembers where you stopped.
• Profiles for everyone: each with its own look and an optional PIN. Kids mode shows only the apps you allow.
• Screen time for kids: a daily limit and a bedtime per profile. When time is up, "Extra 15 minutes" needs your PIN.
• Play your own media: video, music and photos from USB, SD or internal storage, with resume, subtitles and audio-track selection.
• Stream from your NAS or PC over your home network (SMB), with sidecar subtitles.
• Sleep timer and power menu, one press away on the sidebar.
• A built-in assistant that opens apps and finds something to watch, by voice or text.
• A photo screensaver, custom wallpapers, accent colours, tile shapes and sizes, icon packs.
• 30 languages.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

This app uses the Android AccessibilityService API to provide its core launcher functionality.

The AccessibilityService is used to detect when another application, including the device's default/system launcher, comes to the foreground. When necessary, the service allows the app to return its launcher interface to the foreground so that the app can provide the intended home-screen and launcher experience.

The AccessibilityService does not intentionally collect or transmit passwords, text entered by users, or the contents of other applications.

If the AccessibilityService is disabled, the app may be unable to automatically return its launcher interface to the foreground and some launcher features may not function as intended.
