Qui non ci sono medici, né dietologi, ma sappiamo che un’alimentazione varia fa bene alla salute: allo SmartKook potrete scegliere fra numerosi smart-ingredienti.
Selezioniamo prodotti di alta qualità e ci affidiamo a studi e ricerche scientifiche che ci insegnano come il cibo interagisce con il nostro organismo (Nutrigenomica).
Noi siamo ciò che mangiamo (Ludwig Feuerbach-1804) e questo vale soprattutto nel medio-lungo periodo.
Così abbiamo avviato un processo di scoperta (e riscoperta) di ingredienti e di cibi che alcuni ricercatori italiani hanno definito “smart food”. Ne utilizziamo un buon numero per permettere ai nostri clienti, sempre più esigenti e consapevoli, di costruire ogni volta un menù diverso, personalizzato e quindi SMART!

Recenti ricerche hanno dimostrato che le molecole contenute in alcuni cibi possono insinuarsi nell’epigenoma, o DNA, e modificarne quei tratti che influiscono sulla durata della nostra vita, perché riescono ad attivare i geni della longevità. In questa categoria troviamo:
le Antocianine: cavoli viola, ciliegie, arance rosse, mirtilli, melanzane, patate viola/dolci, prugne nere, radicchio, uva nera, frutti di bosco
la Capsaicina: peperoncino e paprika piccante
la Curcumina: curcuma
l’ Epigallocatechingallato: tè verde e tè nero
la Fisetina: cachi, fragole, alcuni tipi di mele
la Quercetina: asparagi, capperi, cipolle, lattuga, cioccolato fondente

In questa categoria rientrano i cibi che aiutano a proteggere il nostro organismo da ipertensione, diabete e obesità: aglio, cereali, erbe aromatiche (basilico, origano, salvia, rosmarino, menta, timo ...), legumi, olio di oliva, olio di semi, semi oleosi (di girasole, di zucca ...), frutta fresca e verdure in genere.
- AntiCancer Food
Un insieme di cibi che, oltre ad essere “protettivi” per l’organismo, rallentano la proliferazione delle cellule tumorali (alcuni riducono gli stati infiammatori dove il cancro trova terreno fertile, altri ne impediscono o rallentano lo sviluppo...). Fra questi:curcuma (curcumina), zenzero (gingerolo), carota (betacarotene), mirtillo e lamponi (delfinidina), soia, trifoglio rosso, caffè (flavonoidi, genisteina), crocifere come broccoli, cavolfiori, rucola, cime di rapa, cavolini di Bruxelles (isotiocianati), pompelmo e pomodoro (licopene), menta, ciliegie e lavanda (alcool perylill), pepe nero (piperina), limone (esperidina).
