crippleware It only serves to demo what the paid Smart Office 2 does. The Lite version Cannot handle files of any reasonable size. Otherwise, it looks like a solid office suite. It is the only spreadsheet I have so far tried that can open and edit an Excel 2007 sheet without breaking the formulae. I just started a sheet of B2=$A1*B$1 and drag fill a big rectangle. Every other tool I tried either converts the formula to literals or incorrectly updated all the formulae when I try to edit any cell.

Not so smart I've just tried this Lite version of Smart Office and walked away with one conclusion: it's dumb! Data entry in a spreadsheet document was painfully stupid. The big and annoying display of "Lite Version" obnoxiously telling the user that this version is a piece of junk an enticing the user to upgrade. This is not a smart marketing strategy! They don't deserve your money because their teasing process only exposes their greedy nature. It's not worthy even trying.
