My 5 year old loves her Smart toy bear. She plays with it for hours and the
app is easy enough for her to use on her own. The charger port seems like
it got loose and her bears foot stopped glowing when charging or when it's
on but it still works so hopefully newer models are better. But overall
we're happy with our bear.

If your animal isn't connecting... I've seen tons of bad reviews on the toy and app, and I purchased two of the smart toys. The first linked up fine, read cards fine, and heard responses fine. The second did not. All it took was a reset like the directions said to do and it worked fine. There's a reset button above the charging port that you hold down until the animal reboots. The app is great, I love that it allows me to interrupt what my kids are playing to give them reminders to brush their teeth!

Have tried for several hours now to get the toy to connect to the parent app and it will not connect. I can't get it to work with my phone or with the tablet. What's up Fisher Price. We paid a lot of money for this toy... I am beyond frustrated right now.
