Smart TV Remote: WiFi Control

ControlTV turns your phone into a Wi-Fi remote control for your Smart TV, streaming player or TV box. No ads, no account and no infrared: your phone talks to the TV over your home network. One universal TV remote for the connected TVs in your home.

WORKS WITH
• Android TV and Google TV: Sony, Philips, TCL, Hisense, Xiaomi, Sharp, Chromecast with Google TV and other TVs and boxes
• Samsung Smart TV (Tizen from 2016 and many earlier models)
• LG webOS and LG NetCast
• Roku players and Roku TV
• Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Edition TVs
• Sony Bravia, Philips, Panasonic Viera and Sharp Aquos with network control
• Hisense VIDAA (models up to 2021) and Vizio SmartCast
• Apple TV, Xiaomi TV (PatchWall), Kodi and Vestel-made TVs such as Toshiba, Telefunken, JVC or Hitachi
• Google Cast receivers: volume and sending photos and videos

BEFORE YOU INSTALL
• Your phone and your TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
• The TV must be a Smart TV or have a connected player. TVs without a network connection are not supported: the app does not use infrared.
• Some TVs ship with control from phone apps turned off: the app tells you which setting to turn on.
• Not supported yet: Hisense VIDAA from 2022, Vizio OS, Titan OS and TiVo OS.

REMOTE
• D-pad, OK, back, home, menu, volume, mute and channels, with haptic feedback.
• Turn on compatible TVs over the network (Wake-on-LAN) and see at a glance which of your saved TVs are online.
• Touchpad: swipe to move through the menus and tap to select.
• Type on the TV with your phone keyboard or voice dictation on supported TVs.
• Open your streaming apps on the TV with one tap and keep your favourites first.

SEND AND MIRROR
• Send photos and videos from your phone to TVs that accept media (Google Cast, DLNA, LG webOS, Roku, Kodi and AirPlay on Apple TV).
• Shortcut to your phone's own screen mirroring (Smart View, Cast and similar).

PRIVACY
• No account and no ads. Saved TVs and preferences stay on your phone.
• The app talks directly to your TV on your local network; pairing uses the TV's own code or confirmation.

FREE PLAN AND PRO
The free plan includes 15 remote actions a day and one saved TV, renewed every midnight. Power and mute are never limited. ControlTV PRO is a one-time purchase, with no subscription, that removes the limits and lets you save every TV in your home.

ControlTV is an independent app and is not affiliated with Samsung, LG, Roku, Google, Amazon, Apple, Sony or any other brand mentioned. Brand names are used only to describe compatibility.
