The combination of rapid test and smartphone app enables a quick, quantitative calprotectin measurement within a few minutes. A video tutorial guides you step by step through the entire test procedure. You can easily and hygienically take a stool sample at home and apply it to the test cassette after mixing it with the buffer solution. After a few minutes, the test cassette is evaluated using the smartphone camera. The unique SmarTest Calprotectin app calculates the calprotectin level and immediately displays the result on your smartphone - allowing you to keep an eye on your calprotectin status yourself and detect inflammatory episodes early. This enables rapid treatment and minimizes possible subsequent damage to the intestine.

I used this a long time ago on a Samsung mini with no issues. But now the camera test fails on a Fairphone 4 and a Galaxy S22. Edit: still works on my ancient Galaxy S5 but test card QR code not recognized and second part of test froze. So, still can't do this test.

While it's helpful in hand holding you through each test, you can't skip the timer. I understand you don't want people ruining the tests but when the app crashes, and you go to open it again, it starts the whole process again and since the sample should be scanned within 2 minutes, and you have to wait 15 for the timer, the test is ruined.

It won't work with my Samsung S22. Having to watch the full unskippable video instructions each time trying to validate my camera was infuriating. Guess you're not getting my measurements.
