The scan worked and directed me to Smart Label's website to read the ingredients. The website gave nice detail, and it makes reading and understanding ingredients a breeze! But, the app does look a tad sketchy, and I wish it kept you on the app than direct you to their website.

No idea what's wrong with the other people's experience. It's overly simplified and is low-key ugly as an app, but it does its job 100% fine. As said in other comments the scan beep is annoying, but a setting so... Works for me at least!

It has pretty good information even telling what each ingredient in products are. The only problem I see with it is the really loud ping sound it makes when you scan something. And it's like a notification so turning just your sound off doesn't stop it, but there is an option to turn it off. There is also links to product websites, although that most likely isn't something anyone would be interested in unless it's a less known brand they're looking for more products from.

This app is wild. I had a product that said "Smart Label enabled! Scan here" so I downloaded this app and scanned it, and guess what? The app said it wasn't a smart label. So this was a complete waste of time.

I downloaded the app because I had two products that said they had "smart labels." I scanned them, and the app said they weren't smart label products.
