I'm going to say it like it is as a day 1 player. Unless you've been playing as long as I have it is definitely paid to play. Hate to say it otherwise. But the mechanics and the gameplay is incredible. Find a helpful clan there are many out there.

DON'T!!! Pay to win, can't beat players who have purchased champions. Also the maps have different obstacles, and they seem to work against you most the time. Plus all enemies are hit multiple times and leaves them with 1 or 3 health, just enough to beat me, I've screenshotted over 30 battles it's happened on. Ad's work but send you to Google Play and cancel out the reward when you go back to game. All in all it's another pay to win game that won't last long.

Good game, doesn't work without internet, can't use service/data. Which sucks because I'm constantly on the road. Also, when I watch ads for rewards, it instead kicks me out of the app, and I don't get the reward. Both get extremely annoying. Would not recommend unless you have lots of patience

If you haven't been playing this game already for some time don't even bother starting. They're constantly increasing the max level of the characters making it difficult for long time players to keep upgrading, and IMPOSSIBLE for new players to ever catch up without spending hundreds of dollars. Nothing new is ever added to the game beyond new characters, arenas and play are the same forever. Zero creativity here just trying to get money the easiest way possible by increasing max character level

This game used to be awesome, but it has been ruined by greed. Premium pass, Elite pass, pay to get specific hero cards and a bunch of others pay to win features.
