I have been using Smug Mug for years! Photography is a hobby for me, and I am able to share high-quality photo galleries with friends and family easily. If this ever becomes a business for me, I can see how easy it would be to use Smug Mug to share and sell photos. I highly recommend this app. It is worth the yearly subscription cost. Customer service is fantastic! I inadvertently deleted galleries, and they were able to restore them in no time after a quick email. I was so grateful for that!

Absolutely brilliant. Simply couldn't be without it. Seamless unlimited storage for mobile devices and gallery sharing my sports images with clients is a doddle. All at super value too! I love Smug mug ❤️

App often ignores auto-upload settings: set to UL over Wi-Fi while charging, expect no certainty that charging your device will actually trigger the UL process. I've put my device down to charge for the night, only to find that dozens of photos I'd expected to be uploaded overnight had not been. When auto-UL DOES work, it can be inconsistent: picky about which files get to UL, and which don't. Don't worry though; to compensate for missed files, it will typically send the ones it DOES UL, twice.

The email says, download the app, and it'll put the photos on your phone gallery. I downloaded the app, tried to download the zip from the email, and nothing happens. It goes through the whole loading bar like it's downloading but nothing gets extracted from the zip. It literally says 0 extracted. Waste of time. Dropbox is easier to use than this.

Very basic functionality, especially the backup option, which doesn't let you select which folders to back up. It backs up everything within the DCIM/Pictures folder, and given all images you download via the app go to a folder within DCIM, they are unnecessarily backed up again to Smug Mug. Please provide: Ability to define a folder to download Smug Mug images Ability to exclude folders from being uploaded in the backup process The ability to tell Smug Mug which folders it should back up.
