Notable dating apps have tried to focus on getting deleted and getting people off it, but the issues stem from the beginning.
After years reading millions of ignored comments on several dating apps - we heard you. We took the risk in creating this disruptive app so you don’t have to waste your life going nowhere.
Smugshot is a dating app designed to REWARD YOU FOR BEING AUTHENTIC.
HOW?
We have measures in place to prevent catfish, including catfish by filters, edits, or old photos.
- The app includes its own camera roll, were photos must be taken from - Except 1 "Pro Photo". This limits the filters to only the Portrait filter with background blurring.
- Each photo has a photo captured date. This encourages users to actively update their photos.
- This means all photos you see in the app are unique, not copy and pasted from other dating apps.
- Authenticity in this day and age isn’t cheap, so we compensate our users monetarily (and support 161 currencies).
VIP members are able to access our very specific filters such as ethnicity, body type, hair color among other features. VIP members enjoy unlimited likes, however non members can enjoy unlimited likes by watching rewarded ads.
Smugshot is free to download and use. However, we also offer optional subscription packages and single or multiple-use paid services for which no subscription is required. We offer weekly, monthly, 3 month, 6 month, and yearly subscriptions giving discounts to the weekly price. The prices may vary per country and are subject to change without notice. Prices are clearly displayed in the app.

Terrible. Can't delete photos cannot view profile. I feel as if my photo and location about me has been compromised.

This app is not a good one. It could very well be an attempt at phishing. It has you input your info, and then, it does nothing. It says it requires 3 pictures but does not allow you to do 3. Hitting the camera icon does nothing. Hitting logout lets you enter your info all over again.

Building a profile is impossible, when you try to select ANYTHING you want to change (like YOUR preferences on smoking, drinking, etc.) it doesn't let you even select it, once you FINALLY can access it, it selects an option for you and WON'T let you change it. Ignore this app, there's nothing useful here
