A Masterclass in Frustration I’ve been playing this game for years as a quick time-killer, but the modern updates have completely ruined the experience. The biggest issue is the illusion of skill—luck dictates everything here. A staggering percentage of dealt decks are mathematically unwinnable, meaning you just waste your time hitting a brick wall. On top of that, the aggressive 30-second video ads between almost every single hand completely shatter the flow of the game.

The one star is because some of the ads are, in my view, malicious. When an ad is presented as a warning that my clean phone is riddled with 70+ viruses, while offering to assist me in my time of need, that's malware. Ads are fine, although I would prefer to simply pay for the app, but peddling malware isn't OK.

I've been using this solitaire app for years. With the introduction of ads that are unskippable, complete with fake close button, I am done. It's a shame because this is the best looking solitaire app and easiest to use imo. All the features I want but the ads that force me to the app store are making me force close the app.
