SonoLune: Calm Environment

Most apps on your phone are built to hold your attention. SonoLune is built to hand it back.

It is one environment, not a folder of features. The light warms and dims below what Android allows. The sound becomes an atmosphere you layer yourself. The apps that pull at you go quiet. And nothing switches itself on.

THE LIGHT
• A screen dimmer that goes below your phone's own minimum, for reading in the dark

WHAT SONOLUNE REFUSES
• No ads. Not now, not later.
• No account. It never asks who you are.
• No third-party trackers built in.
• No streaks, no badges, no notifications asking you to come back.
• Nothing switches itself on. Every part stays off until you choose it.
• Core use works offline.

HOW IT IS PAID FOR
SonoLune is made by one person, and there is no advertising to sell — so nothing in it needs to hold your attention.

Free: the screen dimmer, the blue light filter, dimming below minimum, Quiet Veil, Colour Veil, the core sound layers, focus sessions, Night and the Presence Field.

An optional one-time supporter purchase opens Paper Matte, the Living Field, saved soundscapes, Atmosphere Depth, NeuroLayers and deeper Presence. A monthly patronage covers the Lab sessions and packs that keep arriving.

Neither is required. Nothing expires, nags, or degrades if you never pay.

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
If you want one slider and nothing else, there are simpler apps and some are very good. SonoLune takes a few minutes to set up before it becomes yours. That is the trade, and the point.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE USE
Optional. If you turn on full-system Light coverage, SonoLune uses Android AccessibilityService only to extend the light tint onto the lock screen and notification shade. It never reads screen content, notifications, text, passwords, or personal data, and is never used for tracking or ads. You can use SonoLune fully without it and turn it off anytime.

Recent changes:

Over protected screens, the notification now says what really paused.

Last Light plays without clicks and fades in.

Fixed: the Light preview stopped the page from scrolling.

Arc stretches when pulled past the top, and a message stays in the room it came from.

New installs now start with Sound, worded for the time of day.

Rooted phone with Lune Bridge? The notification and Quick Settings now bring back the same warmth, even when SonoLune was closed. Coming back no longer blinks.
