Soulplay - AI Roleplay

★★★★★ To be honest, it's really good, although the biggest complaint would be the length of the messages sent by the AI, they are coherent and nicely written, and the regeneration and even options to continue the message or describe further are nice, but a little more of predetermined length for the messages would be great, and also, maybe customizable backgrounds for the chats? But it's really good either way, specially lacking any paying subscription to be able to use it.

★★★★★ The ability to customize your own AI to role play with is amazing. You can also use characters that others have created. The app receives regular, meaningful updates. The AI is quick and role plays very well.

★★☆☆☆ Now you have it set up where instead of just deleting the character, you have to type their name before deleting, this idea sucks.

★★☆☆☆ Still needs a great deal of work. This is very new and In development but at the moment I can't recommend it. The AI they use suffers from basic repetitive loop problems that could easily be resolved with some tweaks to the settings, particularly temperature. No direct control over AI parameters. Very small/limited context length to define and describe characters. Confusing interface without much in the way of context menus or clear tips/instructions.

★★☆☆☆ Promised founders to remain premium users forever, lo and behold, they are forcing you to watch ads even when you click the X to exit the chat. Scam artist devs not even keeping their word for a month.
