It's a good app, although I wished it could record the ups and downs line (the visuals we see when hit recording) for a better understanding.

I just installed this app and compared it to my newly acquired sound meter. This app recorded about 5 decibels more than my sound meter. I'm not sure which one is accurate. Maybe none of them are. Will the absence of a wind foam protector over the phone microphone cause the readings to be higher than from a dedicated sound level meter? This sound meter rated the TV noise in my bedroom as Quiet Library. Quiet libraries should be much quieter than that.

Not at all accurate, I go into the bathroom where it's completely quiet, yet it says 40-50 decebles. From what, it's completely quiet, no air vent, outside noice, TV, radio, just quiet yet 40–50 decibels?

Nice meter, but my phone mic is on the bottom, so I have to orientate the phone, so the mic is facing the sound source. This means reading the meter upside down. Must add a screen flip function, so the meter can be ready with the mic at the top of the screen
