Sound Meter

★★★★★ Works pretty well. Wanted to see how loud my work environment was. It averaged about 85dB with a peak of 110dB. Very educational tool. I remember physics saying that 60dB would indicate normal talking.

★★☆☆☆ Easy to use but definitely not accurate. Installed it bc neighbors constantly party until the next morning and the music is so loud that the walls literally shake. I can hear the music and their voices in every room of my suite, so I thought I'd take a few readings before reporting to strata. But this app gives a reading around 40dB which it indicates is what it would sound like in a quiet library. Uninstalling.

★★☆☆☆ Well, it does work in that sense that louder is measured as louder. But the meter is not calibrated, nor does it have a calibration option. Eg, when I just breathe, it detects 40 dB, whisper is 60 dB, etc.

★★☆☆☆ Total rubbish, app says 35db is being produced in a silent room. Then only noise in this room is me breathing

★★☆☆☆ It records sound. It has a meter. It also has ads, LOTS of very intrusive ads. That's it. JUST SAY NO!
