Fantastic. I have it on an S4, Can see live temp, target temp. Control time, set timer on your phone through app. Set up a program of cooking, i.e. 58°C 30 min, 60°C 5min and so forth, 10 slots available. Then even change the color of the light :D

Does the job Who knows when Anova will release a proper android app, they were late with their iOS app, so it's a waiting game. I haven't played with the advanced options like program steps in a real world test, but they work with a pot of water. This app performs exactly as advertised! I suspect people giving it 1 star didn't read the description, or don't know what model Anova they have. Question to the Developer, are the program steps sent to the anova when programmed, or do I need to be in range for them to work?

Only works for one of the 3 models. This isn't clear from the description, I purchased this app but it does not work with my unit. I see, obviously it's my fault for not realizing exactly which model this gift was and doing more research. A refund would be great, thanks.

Not working properly The main reason I bought this app was for the multi-step programming ability. Unfortunately that feature does not work properly. Setting a program makes the numbers change to some random defaults, so you don't actually know the parameters that are programmed. The temp never actually gets to even the 1st stage set, but hovers 0.6F below. Hence the program never proceeds to the next stage because the 1st stage hasn't been met. Not sure why this happens since in dumb mode, it does reach target temp.
