Caltech is an absolute breath of fresh air. My experience has been awesome. Unlike other platforms, it isn't gamified too much and really focuses on actual learning through native context. On top of the great system, the support team replies incredibly fast, and you can tell the founder is very hands-on and deeply cares about the learners. If you want to acquire a language naturally without the tedious grammar drills and homework feel, this is the app to get. Highly recommended!

Amazing tools, but needs dark mode & student discount! I love this app and its unique learning tools! However, I practice at the end of the day, and the lack of a dark mode option really hurts my eyes at night. Please consider adding this feature! Also, as a student, the subscription gets very expensive out of pocket. Adding a student discount option in the future would be amazing. Overall, a wonderful way to learn Spanish!

I can't comment on any of the content in the app as I didn't even get through the set-up. It's such a long and boring process. I'm sure it's a great app, but you need to make that set up way shorter... hopefully I will come back and try again if you do.
