SpeakerPhoneEx is a simple application that stays in the background and does not take extra battery power. It's purpose is to enable your phone's speakerphone to be turned on/off automatically based on whether your phone is held to your face or away from it.

Awesome App!!! Dontcha hate when you want to switch to Speakerphone and you miss what's being said doing it? With this, you just pull it away from your ear to hold it face up and it switches over as you're doing it! It's also for more than that. Ever make those phone calls that suddenly ask you to start using your Keypad to select options, punch in your Acct #, etc.? And then you rush to switch to Speakerphone to start it? This solves it! Just take the phone away from your ear and start punching in #'s!

Had to delete because of glitch that caused app to alwayd think im on a call and phone went black every time my hand or a shadow went over the sensor. Very annoying and couldn't figure out what it was until i deleted the app and everything was normal. Otherwise it worked quite nicely.

It was good I am using it for last one year, but recently around one month back, it has stopped working. Doesn't put on the speakers even if phone is away from face. Tried by uninstalling and reinstalling, but no use. Can you tell me what is the problem?

Stays running after call The app stays running after the phone calls over with it still up in the notification bar and still blacked out the screen would you put anything over the sensor and drains battery quickly and fastly please fixe I don't like resetting my phone after every time I make a phone call
