The recent updates have been nice; however it would be nicer if the app can speak based on when a charger is plugged in. Sure it makes no sense but I don't want to graby phone whiley hands are dirty, and I'm at home with the phone plugged in. Obviously I don't want to have my phone be speaking all the time, and I don't necessarily want to use headsets just to get the phone to speak. I'm already having to build automation scripts just to achieve that and so far that script is limited to one app.

Good app. Only issues, it still says"notification from" if app name is not selected to read, which sounds weird; and there is no global app setting, you have to change each app setting one by one

Love the app! The only improvements would be the following: [1] filter out via regex. [2] regex replace (w/capture groups) message before sending to TTS engine. So I can clean up messages myself of cruft.

I like this app and would give 5 stars except for 1 thing. In spite of setting every conceivable setting voice and otherwise, general and individual apps to English UK. Speak still reads notifications in an irritating voice with an annoying American accent. Why?

I will change my review after getting a response to five stars because this app is actually very good, having one issue with output... so the only way I can get an output is if I select both handset and Bluetooth, but I don't want it to speak on my handset I only want it to speak when Bluetooth is connected to the devices I selected as output. Is that a bug that's being fixed in the next version?

It works sometimes. Most of the time I just get a notification ping. Attempting to change the pin sound through the app doesn't seem to work. Could be worse. Could not work at all. But since it only occasionally does what it's supposed to do I'll be looking at another app.
