Your fellow ADHD + DID system! We downloaded this app because we have laryngitis rn and wanted a way to communicate without destroying our voice, and this was by far the best app! If we ever go nonverbal due to stress or simply a mute alter fronting, we'll defo use this AAC. Simple, easy to use, clear and versatile: it's generally very good. We've only had Spoken and Speech Assistant; we prefer the latter. You get all the necessities 4 free, and can pay for more "luxury" feats :]

The best for people who was born with seizures and severe anxiety symptoms and severe sensory overload input and severe serious problems disorder and severe autistic meltdowns and severe autistic shutdowns and severe autistic panic attacks any time anywhere and severe autism and severe bladder infection and severe bowl movement and severe adhd severe learning disabilities and severe non-verbal and severe eating licking and drinking problems more like me

I am unable to speak due to neurological condition and this app is amazing. It lets me type freely, show or have my messages read aloud, share messages written on WhatsApp, save reorder and delete phrases, create categories, even have different profiles. The option to have multiple tabs is extremely helpful when conversations move on too fast, and I can answer multiple questions without losing my train of thought. I purchased the full version, and it is worth every penny.

As a late diagnosed autistic adult when I'm feeling less than vocal or completely non-vocal(I'm almost always up for typing) it gives me options to communicate in situations where I might not have before.

Being mute, I depend on better than average TTS apps. This is one app that falls within the average range. It does the job just not like I have on other devices. The voice sounds more like a cartoon voice than a real human. Nobody at Google or any tech-savvy friends are able to correct that. I've had this app more than 10 years and in that time this issue has never been addressed. On my other devices I have realistic voices with various accents. So it is achievable.

Cannot get it to translate into a different language, it only repeats the English word with the selected accent. (ie Blue with a Japanese accent, instead of the Japanese word for blue)
★☆☆☆☆Giavani Allen· Jul 9, 2025
It has a Russian accent, but it doesn't have Russian as a language

For even the free version, you should have a dark option. Removed immediately. So bright. Awful app.
