I've used it a few times, and there is at least one area that it can improve upon, when scanning the text, it often has a hard time telling where to read, especially if there is marginal text in the inner binding area of books. It simply doesn't know where to go, or doesn't read some areas. I hope that makes sense. I love the few celebrity voices, which makes reading interesting. I love the Snoop Dogg AI voice. It helps me to not become bored with reading.

Great for getting through textbooks fast. Am in college, and reading isn't exactly a fun activity for me, but with this app, I was able to keep up on my reading. Takes like 3 to 5 minutes to set up a chapter, and then I'm good to go, shaving off likely hours of would be reading. Only downside is it can be a little clunky to use on a smaller phone when setting up a chapter with columns.

TLDR- not user-friendly or functional, DO NOT PURCHASE: - good voices only when you have ridiculous internet connectivity (I have fiber with 700+ mbs up and down, and it says it detects poor connectivity) - download function is not good. - expensive - reads footnotes, meaning that you have to try to remember where you were. - if there is data on the side of the page (like with Cambridge, JSTOR, or many other scholarly journals) you get to listen to where you downloaded it from every time.

It costs a boatload to use anyone's voice more than for one page... The voices can't read through a period... They have to say "I look the other way COMMA, and I saw another bird PERIOD."

Worked great to start but pretty useless unless you take a subscription. I understand that they have to make money and the app is excellent, however the part they don't tell you is after reading a certain number of pages you need to upgrade to the premium package. That feels a little sneaky to me, it's a shame it's a decent app as well
