I used it long enough 2 make me sound like Santa Claus 2 send my boyfriends' daughter a voice msg letting her no that her presents r goin 2 b delayed due 2 dasher & blitzen catching a reckless flying citation & getting the sleigh impounded. Presents & all!! Lol! It was cool!! Kinda felt bad bcuz she totally bought it!! 🤣

Love the concept, but there are a number of glitches. Namely, one of the biggest ones is to connect your Kindle library to speechify. You have to manually enter your password on the Kindle mobile website, not the Kindle app. It is not saved, and you have to redo it every single time you want to import a new book

I like the app, and I've subscribed to the annual subscription and paid for the Speechify Library Lifetime. The one problem I have is the search function needs some work. For example, if I search for Emma by Jane Austen, no publication of the book appears in the search results. The results bring up a ton of obscure books and manuscripts with 0 ratings. I have to find the book by scrolling through the categories and locate it in the "Timeless Must-Read Classics" section. Great app otherwise!

After an exhausting onboarding with multiple offers to subscribe and pay even before you saw what's it all about and getting eventually to passing a link to a Reddit post and hearing it narrated with a simple mechanical voice was very disappointing.

I signed up for Speechify because I didn't want to have to read the great books I have. "Just scan the cover, and it will read it to you..." Well, you have to scan EVERY PAGE that you want the app to read. It would be better to pay for Kindle audio to read to you. Still, Speechify can have Snoop Dogg read your scriptures to you, if they are already downloaded onto your phone.

I would not recommend it. The ad on TV is not what you get. The ad shows laying the phone and reading your book, but reality is different. You have to scan each page for it to read, and if you don't scan it correctly, it skips.
