I'm still discovering more about this app. But it really does the trick particularly as I use it to translate English text into other languages. Speech notes allows me to put together continuous sentences of speech that I can easily copy and paste into a language translator.

Good app for recording and transcribing quick ideas to a note. Like if you were attending a conference or going through your day, you could quickly record and have them added to a note as you think of things. I love it for this application.

Good enough at speech recognition but free version has trouble with newline unless preceded by a period. New paragraph works. Also, "period" and "new line" can't be input as text verbatim. I would like to see monosyllabic aliases for punctuation action phrases. Not too good in noisy places. Use plugin earbuds with a mike instead. I'm using it for building an inventory spreadsheet. I can share the output to Drive and Sheets or any CSV reader. $30 for lifetime license. Hope they keep upgrading!!

Real disappointed in the censorship on this app. If I or anyone speaking in the vicinity of my phone says a "bad" word, that word will be bl***ped. Or in some cases, not transcribed at all. What if the app mis-attributes a word and just fails to transcribe? Could be just flat out dropping critical information. It's annoying to be censored in my private notes, but just not writing the words that I know damn well were heard is unacceptable.

I wanted to use this for speech to text in apps, but it doesn't work any better than Google Voice To Text, which is a piece of junk. So that means this is pretty much a piece of junk too. With AI and all, these days, I can't understand why no one seems to be able to make a Voice To Text app that works well within apps such as Facebook and blue sky etc. Oh well. Another one down the drain. Uninstalling now.

No idea if it even works. Right out of the gate the "new note" button for a clean document doesn't work. Never even tested the dictation. It did pop up the payment prompt 4 times though. Pitty. I was hoping to test the punctuation feature.
