Sphygmo App is a real discovery that has turned to out to be a welcome help. After trying out quite a few apps, I came across this app. It has the ability to work both automatically with selected BP devices, alternatively, data can be entered manually. This is particularly useful because the app can save blood pressure, Glucose, Weight, Temperature, Respiratory Rate and Oxygen Saturation data from finger devices. Few apps do this, most process one or two of these. Unique to this app is the double measurement from which an average is calculated for a selected time /date. In other words, it is more reflective of the actually measured factor with the second measurement taken a minute later (or can be skipped). Those with selected devices can use the Bluetooth connection. Data can be exported readily for 30 day, last year and all time periods. Just choose the program you wish to have it delivered to through the Share feature. Developed by doctors and engineers at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada this app is handled through a university start-up company (mmHg Inc. Canada). The fact that it is free is simply amazing. If you want to support the group you can opt to send in €2.39 to support their work using the Google Play Store which makes it quick and easy. Sphygmo App appears to be developed with a model of health care in mind that could allow patients and doctors to see and share the same results. Patients would provide health care providers / doctors with sufficient permissions to access data thereby cutting down paperwork, speeding up doctor / patient diagnosis and communication. This is a model I have seen with health sensors that is emerging. Hopefully this app will continue to involve doctors in its development, as it could really help people where a more full coverage of data integration arises through many types of sensors. I can't say enough positive things about the Sphygmo App. That is because I tested quite a few and learned very quickly there is a lot of variability between them and few apps handle so many measurement types. It exports data, graphs results and allows for data recovery. Obviously the price is right and surprising. Perhaps the App is in development, and hopefully any change in pricing would be minimal. A few points for development I would like to see: -- Language options could be expanded to include French, German, Spanish and so on. -- While measuring is handled well, there is no indication whether the user has varying degrees of hypertension etc. based on the values. Doctors would obviously know what measurements mean, and some indication of that might be useful. Even colors like green, yellow and red, for example. -- A data import function would be useful. In my case, once I found this app, I wanted to move all my data into it, but there is no import function beyond selected devices it interfaces. -- It would be great if this app could connect to an ergometer while exercising, and record data through Bluetooth. Heart and pulse data are often measured while riding along with cadence. In summary, this app is an excellent discovery, especially for the price. I hope these folks keep developing it. I highly recommend others to try it out.

Doesn't allow you to record second reading

While this app is compatible with my Omrom BP786N and will transfer a BP test while connected, it does NOT transfer any BP tests that were done "outside" the app. I would like to take a day's worth of BP tests and sync with the app once a day.

Interested in using this app, but it seems it is for use in Canada and United States region only. Any hope of the app been usable in my region, Africa?

Last measurement date got stocked 2 weeks ago and wouldn't move forward according to today's date. That makes it useless when reviewing or sharing results with your doctor.
