Description
Spirit Phone Innovations (SPI) is an experimental paranormal research application developed to explore new approaches to Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC). Conceptualized by paranormal researcher Sean Austin, SPI is designed to analyze environmental audio using artificial intelligence in a way that differs from traditional ITC-style applications.
At the core of SPI is SAM Mode, an experimental feature that analyzes environmental audio in real time and applies AI-based processing to identify and interpret audio patterns that may exist outside of normal human speech ranges. Unlike applications that rely on fixed word banks or pre-selected vocabulary, SPI is designed without predetermined phrase limitations, allowing for open-ended analysis rather than scripted responses.
KEY FEATURES
SAM Mode Audio Analysis: Experimental AI-driven analysis of environmental audio for potential anomalous patterns. No Word Bank Limitation: Designed without a fixed vocabulary list, allowing results to remain unrestricted by preset phrases. Session Logging & Word History: Detected words and session results are automatically saved to an in-app log folder, allowing users to review, compare, and document findings over time. Language Interpretation (Experimental): Optional translation of detected words when foreign-language patterns are identified. Estimated Voice Characteristics: Experimental analysis providing estimated age range and gender characteristics based on detected audio patterns. Community Activity Mapping & GPS Directions: Users can place location pins to document reported activity, view shared locations from other users, and receive GPS directions to reported sites. SPI was designed with the idea that ITC research benefits from documentation, pattern comparison, and shared exploration. The goal is not to provide predetermined answers, but to create an environment where users can explore potential patterns in audio and compare results across locations, environments, and sessions.

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
SPI requires a subscription to access its features. Two auto-renewable subscription tiers are available — Standard and Ghost — each offered as monthly or yearly plans.
Standard includes: EVP detection, frequency range control, and paranormal hotspot reporting. Ghost includes: Everything in Standard, plus age and gender detection and multi-language EVP translation.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time through your App Store account settings.

I am saddened by the fact that there is a monthly fee now. I started on iphone, and you only had to buy the app and be able to use it. I now have both Android and IPhone, so I get a lot of responses during a session, but I have to pay separately for the apps on both Android and IPhone. There isn't actual "sign in" for either Android or IPhone. I'd love the options for a complete account page with settings and a way to have a password where the account can be used across a phone or ipad used.

I've tried a lot of paranormal investigation apps over the years, and SPI has quickly become one of my favorites. I like that it offers both monthly and annual subscription options. I like the ability to display the estimated age and gender of a spirit during a session. Unlike many apps, SPI doesn't rely on creepy words or phrases simply to scare users. I also love the built-in prayers, making it easy to begin or end investigations according to your personal practices. SPI is a well-designed app

I have tried several spirit apps, but I have to say by far the SPI app is amazing. I love that all your sessions are kept on file by date and time. I plan on updating to the ghost plan that actually tells you whether the spirit is male or female and the age. I absolutely recommend the SPI for clear EVP responses that have been on point. Great job Sean Austin!!!

I have an android phone. And it keeps going off. Back to my home screen. It's not recording anything. Or even working properly. Shame, I've been looking forward to this for so long!!

I wasn't able to even use the app. I had to pay $5 just to check it out. I won't pay for something unless I know it works... this app is NOT FREE. There's no free trial, or even a free option. Its completely locked behind a pay wall
