Coffee is AMAZING! However, the app needs to allow a MANUAL input for coffee bean type. Otherwise, if you use a coffee not registered with Spinn, you have to "fake" it to get it in system. The search for beans in the app isn't that good since some roasters and beans don't show up. BUT, once you have some beans in .... step back for a coffee shop experience at home! Pour over is great, the nitro cold brew is a fave too.

I love the concept and machine capabilities. Yet, the design process neglected two critical factors. First, you can only place a regular size coffee mug or smaller for brewing. Many of us like to utilize a travel mug size for brew and go. Secondly, unless you connect to a direct water supply, you will find yourself refilling your water container frequently. Besides, water for brewing, the Spinn machine also self cleans therefore using more water. They do offer a larger sized container @ more $.

Waited 4 years!! Finally, connected the machine to Wi-Fi after many attempts. The app will not recognize the machine as connected to my network! I know it's connected because I can see all the connected devices on my network admin console, and there is strong signal at the machine. The app simply doesn't see the machine as connected, so the machine is useless to me. If you're thinking about buying a Spinn, wait or look elsewhere.

I'm really not sure who all these people are saying how good this coffee is. Perhaps lattes and cold brew are good, but any version of filter or Americano style coffee is bitter and lacking flavor, no matter how many parameters or beans I change. I miss flavor of true pour-over or French press. Also, quantities and quality vary from cup to cup, regardless of settings. Beans get very warm in storage hopper, original model can't to be connected to water line, no course/fine grind adjustments, etc.
