It's a good app. Thanks to it, you can have a more competitive and fun approach when doing spinning sessions. My suggestions are: - While the session is on, you should be able to check your current statistics (or at least the color band) in your smartphone. That way, you would be able to adjust even if the instructor is not showing it. - There shoud be some sort of accumulated data in the statistics. e.g. the average calories burnt per session.

Really enjoy the Spiv system but the app could do with an FTP% graph for the duration of the workout similar to the cadence graphs (not the histogram ones). It'd be useful to see where I'm going wrong as it says I spend around 20% of the class at 1-55 FTP and I want to know when in the class this happens. Really love it though it's fantastic!

Stopped syncing correctly and shortchanges on calories. I burn about 600~800 calories a class per cycling as we do several types of exercises. This app has stopped working normally almost a week ago by thinking that I do thing and only burn 200~300 calories. It needs a serious update as this is misleading. Update: someone who barely tries in my spin class got 5k calories burnt in less than an hour. This is how broken this spiv app is. Please fix it.

App will not get past the "Where are you?" screen before crashing and is unusable. Has the exact same issue on iPhone. YMCA that I attend is returning 35 spin bikes due to Spiv not honoring its contract. This might sound like an overreaction, but you cannot use the bikes properly without the Spiv app and synchronizing your FTP zone. The YMCA is literally losing members because of the poor app experience. Last time app was updated was 7-months ago. Terrible software.

App specifically says it connects with ant+. Acquired ant+ monitor. Can not find it in scan. The hr monitor is found by my phone as my phone wasn't coded by monkeys, but even if a hr monitor was connected to spiv, you would never know unless you're at the gym seeing it on the monitor.

Unreliable. It stops working in the middle of the workout sometimes. It's sometimes not recording my stats that were showing up in my class on my app. Entire gym has issues with it. HR monitor is only 1 month old, but like I said, everyone is having issues.
