This app used to be really good, and I used to recommend it to everyone for managing group expenses. But now the free version feels way too restricted. Being limited to only a few entries per day unless you buy premium is honestly very annoying. I only use the app occasionally, so paying for a subscription doesn’t make sense for me. It’s disappointing because this was one of my go-to apps before. Sadly, I can’t recommend it anymore and will probably start looking for alternatives.

Absolutely terrible experience with Split wise. I cancelled the free trial a day before renewal, yet they still deducted money from my account. This feels extremely dishonest and misleading. Customer support is completely useless — no replies to emails, no proper assistance, nothing. Taking money even after cancellation and then ignoring users is unacceptable behavior. Feels more like a scam than a trustworthy app. Be very careful before adding your payment details here.
