The app developers deceived me. The app said that for a yearly subscription, they will provide me with a 7-day trial, but instead the app just went ahead and charged me with the full amount with the renewal date exactly 1 year from now! I checked my friends account to double-check if the trial offer was actually present and active on the yearly subscription which it was as shown on their app and website!

Split wise used to be good. But now they are pushing too hard for the subscription thing that I don't need. Now I'm being blocked from using the free parts of the software unless I accept to try the pro version - cancel anytime, "riiiight". I don't trust they would actually allow me to cancel, given how the app got enshitified over time. I don't want to trial anything - instead I'll trial the uninstallation button.

Now has a limit on the daily number of expenses in the free version. The previous wait time was already annoying, but they are really trying to force you to buy a subscription for such a simple utility app. Just egregious.

Now can't even add a single expense without an unskippable 10s Pro ad. The app is more and more unusable on free...
