Please tell me this app is still being actively developed! I've tried out at least a dozen recipe/meal plan apps. This one stands out!. The add from url feature is awesome--faster and more accurate than any other. It does a great job looking up ingredients and adding a cute pic to the ingredients list. Few apps calculate nutrition info, and it's often clunky or inaccurate. Spectacular is fast and amazingly accurate, and it gives you a daily calorie/fat/protein/carb count. And it's free!

Where has this app been all my life? If you like cooking, meal planning, meal prepping, counting your macros, and/or are looking for a good place to store your favorite recipes, this app is it. Honestly, I was pretty blown away by the functionality and features of this app. Their recipe database is mind-mindbogglingly extensive. And, if their database doesn't have a specific recipe, you can actually add it by using their Add Recipe -> Extract Recipe from URL function.

Under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), consent must be: Unbundled: When you ask for consent, this needs to be separate from other terms and conditions. You can’t make consent a precondition for signing up for a service, unless you would be otherwise unable to provide that service. This is literally the first thing the GDPR lists and this app DOES NOT COMPLY. It does not let you sign up for an account UNLESS YOU OPT IN to marketing emails.

I just downloaded it, and only the recipe of the day shows up when you search recipes. Other than that, it's a great app.

Probably suited to people with no dietary requirements, but essentially useless for anyone with specific requirements, e.g. I now require a low-carb and/or low-fat diet.
