Works surprisingly well for what you paid for a 2mp Wi-Fi action cam with a waterproof case I might add... Make sure you turn on the Wi-Fi first, connect to it via your smart device and then open the app, and you can start using it to pretty much do what it's made to do - realistically after you set your settings only thing I'd use the app for is a monitor/remote control, it's handy like that, and it works as described. Kind of wish I could turn on the ir remotely too, but oh well.

Software works fine as a remote view, record and monitor, records to either phone or sd card. Sadly let down by the bad sound of the SQ13, this is a hardware problem as the sound is just as bad not using the software.

There are two shortcomings with this otherwise fine app: (1) the video compression used is too light, 1080P HD uses a bandwidth of 34 MB/s (!) while the lighter 720P uses 22 MB/s (again !). As a result a video of just 20 seconds takes up 54 MB of space on SD card (2) if this wasn't enough, the Wi-Fi implementation is too slow (not sure if due to s/w or h/w) and a couple of minutes video will take ages to download to the smartphone. It is much faster to take the SD out and copy to PC, but that's not very practical. It's a shame the developers do not listen to user's input and rectify some issues - the app has not been updated since Nov 2019 :(

Dear sir, I have purchased the sq13 came from AliExpress since more than one year but when I turn it on it shows no Vedic on my smartphone using sports dv app. The screen of sports dv app shows no Vedic. I have tried three smartphones but the same issue appears. It saves Vedic in memory card having size in mbs but does not play on my Techno spark 4. I am eagerly waiting for watching its Vedic on my smartphone. Please sir I need your kind help. Regards shahid Haman from Pakistan

Useless, pure luck if the app manages to connect to the camera after several attempts and even then nothing works, and half of it is in Chinese (probably).

Just received the Wi-Fi camera, and I am unable to record videos. I am able to listen to clearly to what's being recorded and take pictures with remote controller. The app does not work for android. Please fix.
