Description

Square Number is a fast, focused puzzle game where numbered squares fall into a compact board and every placement matters. Drag active squares to create clears and keep the stack under control.

Clear squares in two ways:
- Match touching groups of the same number (2 or more).
- Build touching vertical or horizontal sequences of 3+ consecutive numbers, with no duplicate numbers in the sequence.

Scoring rewards efficient play: each clear grants (sum of removed values) x (number of removed squares), with cascades multiplying the result for combo runs.

As your score rises, pressure rises too. Effective fall speed increases every 500 points, up to 1.5x total speed, so runs shift quickly from setup play to survival decisions. A game ends when placed squares cross above the top border.

The board uses a fixed 5-column grid for precise drag-and-drop placement. Tune each run with adjustable speed and number range, pause and resume anytime, and switch theme modes to match your style.

Square Number also saves your paused board automatically when the app is minimized or closed, then restores it next time you launch so you can continue your run. Track your top scores and push for cleaner, faster clears.
