REQUIRES A SUPERIOR SWIM TIMING SYSTEM
This app is the lane timer for the Superior Swim Timing (SST) timing system. It works only with the SST console application - it is not compatible with Colorado, Daktronics, Omega or any other timing system. If your pool does not run SST, this app cannot connect to your equipment.
Without an SST console it still works as a plain manual stopwatch, but the features below need one.
WHAT IT DOES
Turn your phone or tablet into a wireless lane timer, with every time flowing straight into the SST console. Why spend money on finicky standalone stopwatches that run through batteries and give the timer no useful information?
The app finds the SST console automatically on your pool's network - no addresses to type in, no pairing. Once the console assigns the device to a lane, the timer sees the lane and watch assignment on screen along with the event, the swimmer's name and the number of lengths. Every manual and automatic time is transmitted straight back to the console. No paper slips, no shouting times across the deck.
BUILT FOR THE POOL DECK
- Large, high-contrast buttons that work with wet hands
- Clear timing display readable at arm's length
- Lap splits for multi-length events
- Reset requires a deliberate long press, so a stray tap cannot wipe a time
- The screen stays awake through a heat
- Battery level is reported to the console, so the timing operator can see which devices need attention
HARDWARE BUTTONS
Connect a USB or Bluetooth button device or keyboard and drive start, stop, lap and reset without touching the screen - useful for timers who prefer a physical button.
AVAILABLE IN FIVE LANGUAGES
English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and French. The app follows your device language automatically.
WITHOUT A CONSOLE
No SST console on the network? The app runs as a straightforward manual stopwatch with start, lap and stop. Nothing to configure and nothing to sign in to - but it cannot send times anywhere.

Recent changes:
One-handed operation. Start and Stop are now a single large button, placed where your thumb rests. Lap and Reset sit clear of it, so a stray press cannot end a race.
After a finish the button holds at STOPPED for five seconds, then starts the next heat directly.
More room for the swimmer's name and the clock, and the controls now scale to your phone's screen.
Fixes buttons sitting under the Android gesture bar, and button labels wrapping in some languages.
