Stagefright Detector

I was getting "Stage fright Alert" with MMS downloads. Installed this app. Ran it, and it said my Android phone was not vulnerable. Check! Good app!

Thumbs UP for 2 other reviews also!! One person said that people that download this app & give negative feedback didn't read the PURPOSE OF the app & what it does & she's right!!! This app is to TEST for vulnerabilities, let u know if you're infected & from what I gather It's also to report to the designers how many people are out there still allowing their phones to auto download their messages as well as whatever other vulnerability we might have to this virus. The other person I gave a thumbs up to said plain and simple "The app does what it says & let's u know if u have a vulnerability, but it doesn't continue from there & fix it, remove the vulnerability or tell you how & I don't feel he wasn't disrespecting the app in any way be just made the statement for those users that DON'T READ the app info before downloading it and then give negative feedback as if it's the app's fault! NO it doesn't fix the vulnerability, No it DOESN'T remove the problem if you're infected either & NO it DOESN'T guide you through the process of setting your phone up correctly either. It DOES tell you if you're at not risk, so you know u need to go get more educated on your particular type of phone & how to set it up, so you're no longer at risk. Uninstall it after you get your answer. I just get tired of being misled & misinformation on these ratings all because of 'that type' of negative feedback. The lazy ones. Or whatever reason they didn't completely READ the APP'S PURPOSE in the beginning but found the energy to judge it! When we shop for an app we'll pass right by a good one because the review numbers are so low & go right for one with a higher number. So please, judge apps it's ability to function for what it promises to do & NOT because it didn't brush your teeth and comb your hair today too! It does nothing. I sent google a message with my concerns, and they send me this app does absutely nothing. It feels they encourage cyber crimes, or just generally don't care of cyber issues. The internet is like Barbery Coast days. Anything goes, There are no laws. You can't even go into Google in the peninsula or in the city for help, there is no one to help with customer service.

Useless. I can see the libstagefrights, and they ain't the patch it's how my pos husband got into my cellphones all these years. I liberally had it fall to his autoscripts and get tagged by the error prone [OSS] he installed. Doesn't scan for real now only 1 sec. and then it claims I'm safe when I'm looking at the stage fright Infection myself.

Unfortunately you are using Godaddy for your Security Cert. Based upon investigations of net scammers which I do, theirs is the cheapest webpage source for 419 Letters from various countries. My Bank finally dropped them because too many of us could prove them untrustworthy.
