Play as John, a private in the service of the Federation.
John doesn't fight to rack up kills or for honor and pride. At least not anymore. He just fights to survive and get the whole thing over with. His ship is controlled by Ellie, an Artificial Intelligence which is programmed to help pilots stay mentally strong throughout the war and which cannot kill human beings.
Federation is about to turn the tide of the war but then things start to go wrong. Ellie puts John into hibernation for 1000 years. Now he will have to discover what really happened and maybe, but just maybe, save the galaxy.

Great 3D shooter. A straightforward game you buy up front with no freemium and microtransaction BS. Excellent graphics, controls, and sounds. The dev asks you for a little, and gives you a lot. The touch controls are how a touch control game should be. Thank you very much, dev, for controller support. Difficulty gets maddening in later levels. Story's not quite there, but you really don't need one with this great 3D Shoot 'em Up on rails that follows in the spiritual footsteps of Star Fox, Panzer Dragoon, and Radius.

Forced perspective. Apparently this is a Nintendo game from back in the
day. Enemies are OP on Easy and Normal. Missions where you must protect
assets you find yourself questioning how something is done when you killed
all enemies on screen. Another example of OP AI. Even after getting
upgrades you still feel powerless to enemies. Overall a terrible game with
terrible forces perspective.

Can't get past tutorial. Once I finish the weapons tutorial it just flies it's course then just sits there.

Game will glitch out during the mousetrap mission preventing you from finishing. What happens is the front three nodes on the cargo ship will not show up as targets, so you cannot shoot them.
