★★★★★ A lot of problems have been ironed out over the last few months, so I'm going to change my rating again. 4 stars until further notice. It would be five, but there's a huge pay to play aspect that isn't going away. Game is great but prepare for a very slow grind if you can't find your wallet

★★☆☆☆ Constantly having to rebuild ships because I don't spend money to upgrade faster. Will never be able to 'reach the top ship' because I won't buy it. No none PvP options to play either. Update: no, it doesn't just quicken your progress. There are ships & characters you cannot get 'by chance'. When people spend more money than I make in a year so that I have to spend 15-20 min to rebuild my ships EVERY day if I don't spend enough hours earning a peace shield, it's a broken game. This isn't Trek

★★☆☆☆ Absolutely ridiculous. After level 25 it is impossible to advance without money. The in-game store is a $100 per ship, upgrade, advancement, or building with no way around it. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME unless you plan to spend literally thousands of dollars. Worst money grab I've ever seen with horrible server connectivity.

★★☆☆☆ I've played since its release. And I have spent thousands of dollars (no regrets). But I regret immensely how disrespectful Scopely is to their free to play players. I'm not going to participate in it anymore, and I have earged everyone in my alliance to leave the game as well, Scopely does not care about you, they do not care about Star Trek, and they certainly do not care about their players. Take it from a seasoned STFC veteran, find another game. They will only care when it costs them money.
