Start Art is your introduction to drawing and painting in all media with simple exercises to get you started.

With demonstrations to follow including landscapes, pet portraits, animals, children, flowers and more, Start Art will help you to draw and paint pictures to be proud of.

Now in its 8th edition, Start Art will guide and inspire you, and includes help, advice and tips from selected top tutors with exceptional experience in teaching beginners.

Each demonstration feature details a list of materials that you’ll need plus suggested techniques to try first, followed by step-by-step instructions on how to complete each project.

This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.

Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.

★★★★★ Great Mags but I am already a subscriber and have already got all of these issues so is there a way I can sign in and download them onto my tablet for easier reading or am I really expected to pay for them again because I'm definitely not going to do that.- however much easier it would be to use them

★★☆☆☆ Older issues Issues 1 to 9 will not display even though purchased, only issues from 10 onwards are available with this app, this is unacceptable
