Status Saver: Save & Download

Status Saver is a simple status downloader: save the photo and video statuses you have viewed to your gallery in one tap, in the original quality, with no watermark and no screen recording. It works with the regular messaging app and its Business edition.

Your friends' statuses disappear after 24 hours. Save status photos and videos before they are gone, one at a time or all at once, and keep them in a Status Saver album in your gallery for as long as you like. No account, no sign-up, and saving works offline.

How to save a status
1. Open your messaging app and view the status you want.
2. Open Status Saver. The status appears in the Photos or Videos tab.
3. Tap the save button to download the status. It is saved to your gallery.

Privacy
Status Saver reads only the folder where the statuses you have viewed are kept. On Android 10 and newer you grant access to that single folder through Android's own folder picker, so the app cannot see your other files. On older Android versions the app asks for storage permission to reach that folder. It does not read your chats or contacts. The photos and videos you save are never uploaded by the app. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID. Ads
Status Saver is supported by ads. You can remove all ads with a single one-time purchase in Settings, and restore the purchase on another device with the same Google account.

Tips
- A status must be viewed in your messaging app before it appears in Status Saver.
- Save status videos and photos soon after you watch them, before they expire.
- Saved videos can use a lot of storage. Use the Saved tab to delete the ones you no longer need.
- Please respect other people's privacy. Only save and share a status with its owner's permission.

Status Saver is made for one job: download status photos and videos, keep them in your gallery, and share them when you like.
