Well for some who has a broken pc for a long time with friends online. I would say this is really nice. I can talk to my steam friends without my pc being turned on. I can talk to them whenever I wanted. Pretty sick ngl

This app is very useful for a couple of things A. logging into your steam account on an other device (EX: PC) B. launching games from your phone on your desktop Cons: A. The fact that I can't use steam chat in the steam app is a bit awkward, but it's livable B. you should probably put those cleaner that you cannot run PC apps from this app because some people are dumb. Otherwise it does not deserve a 2.0 rating it deserves like at least 4.0.

Can't even log in anymore, main Steam app still lets me log in just fine and can log in online and in the client on PC, just this app that doesn't work.

This app legitimately sucks. I have not been able to log in since I downloaded it. I have tried to force stopping, and reinstalling it. I know my info is correct as I use the Steam App on my phone as well, yet every time I try to message a friend through Steam I am forced to attempt to use this garbage. I can't even get past logging in. It keeps telling me "there was a problem logging you in" and the retry button does nothing. Either fix this app or move messaging back to the main Steam app.

Steam Chat could be either part of the main Steam app or at least they could share login session on the same device. Even such a common thing as logging in is a bad experience here since I can't simply select credentials from password manager. Definitely needs some update related to authentication convenience. QR login, pass codes, autofill from Android credentials manager or login using other official Steam application would be so nice features for first time experience.
