One of the best discord alternatives. Me and some friends made a steam group, and it looked like a discord server, you could set up roles, channels, voice chats, even the call quality Is more quality than discord's. Just needs more features, and then it could feel even more akin to a platform like discord In the steam ecosystem.

Greatly improved since the last time I tried it. I'm very impressed. Now I finally have no excuse not to set up steam guard. I only wish you could do it from the Steam Chat app, so we don't have to have two apps installed.

Terrible. I've logged out and logged in. delete cache. Whatever I could do. Not one friend or a chat ever showed up. So I think it's sucks. I downloaded chat when im away or off my pc. like to come on. I can't keep turning on my on pc JUST for messages. Like what is this app if it doesn't even work ?

Worst idea ever making a separate app. I use a crazy password generator on pc to protect my library. How am I supposed to log in to the chat on mobile...

Every time I try to open steam chat for mobile it says "there was a problem logging you in" I can't use steam chat on my mobile devices anymore. What's the point of even having it installed on mobile anymore?

Very broken app, image upload does not work, YouTube embed does not work, extremely outdated, Valve have abandoned the chat app for years without fixing even critical issues with the user experience.
