Each challenge has its own theme, setting, and animal companion — a white dove, a barn owl, a grey wolf — that travels with you as you move.

Step counting on Android just got a lot more reliable.

Your steps are now kept in a new, crash-proof store on your phone, and your existing history is carried over automatically. The step counter restarts itself if your phone stops it, shows a notification while it counts, and a new guide in Health settings explains how to keep it running on phones with aggressive battery savers.
