StepWell: Steps & Pedometer

StepWell is an all-in-one step counter, pedometer, and health tracker — steps, heart rate, blood pressure, weight and daily water intake in one simple app. StepWell is not a medical device and does not measure blood pressure; you enter those readings yourself.

👟 STEP COUNTER & PEDOMETER
Counts every step automatically with your phone's built-in motion sensor — no wearable, no setup. Set a daily goal and let the battery-friendly pedometer run in the background all day.

❤️ HEART RATE MONITOR
Place your finger over the back camera and StepWell measures your heart rate with photoplethysmography (PPG) in about 15 seconds. From the same reading it works out your HRV, a stress score and an energy score. Results are approximations only. (For general wellness and informational purposes only.)

🩺 BLOOD PRESSURE TRACKER
StepWell does not measure blood pressure. Take your reading with a certified monitor, then log the systolic and diastolic numbers here. StepWell compares each entry against standard reference ranges, keeps your history, and reminds you when it is time to log again.

⚖️ WEIGHT TRACKER & BMI
Track your weight, set a target weight, and let StepWell calculate your BMI. Charts break your progress down by month or year.

💧 WATER TRACKER
Log every cup by time of day. Pick your cup size, set a hydration goal, and get gentle reminders through the day.

📊 STATS & STREAKS
Steps, calories, distance and active minutes by day, week, month and year. Build a daily streak and get notified when you reach your goal.

Step, water and activity widgets — see your progress without opening the app.

🔒 NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
No sign-up, no login. Your health logs are stored on your device.

DEVICE COMPATIBILITY
Step counting needs a phone with a built-in step-counter or accelerometer sensor. Heart rate needs a back camera with an LED flash — it is not available on phones without a flash, and results vary with your camera and the lighting. Most Android phones from 2018 onward support both.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Step accuracy varies by device and by how you carry your phone — disable battery optimization for StepWell if steps stop counting in the background. Distance is estimated from your step count and stride length, not GPS. The camera flash can become warm during a reading; stop if it feels uncomfortable.
