Please read the whole review. The slightly negative and then the very positive. Despite the Developer's response to my last review, this is not a replacement for Safe Camera unless you turn off cloud storage. And you can't even open the account unless you create an account - offline or not. Remember that for cloud storage you are STILL storing your photos somewhere where you have no control over where the files are, nor how long they will be there. Remember that encryption has a lifespan, and it's only a matter of time before interested parties can decrypt your file... maybe 5 years from now when the encryption is pwned. That said, if you're looking for cloud storage, this is the best encrypted cloud storage app I've had the pleasure of looking into. They are super transparent about what they are doing, all the security information is available and super detailed on their website, the source code is open source. Even the price is reasonable. If you're like a growing number of people and are moving your services away from Google, this is probably the best solution I've seen. In fact, I will soon turn off Google photos and use this primarily. To the developer, adding a bit more information on your backup and recovery strategy on your website would give that last piece of confidence for customers. I've often said that I could lose all my digital baggage EXCEPT my photos. I think many people feel the same way.

Why would anyone depreciate Safe Cam (SC), and come up with "TINKLE". ZCash/ZCoin DEV ADVICE=NSA/FBI BACKDOOR CITY! SC IS LOCAL, & IS BETTER THAN THIS STATIC, CLOUD TARGET. LOCAL STORAGE IS A MOVING HIGH GROUND. FBI/CIA STEAL SERVER & CHANGE CODE GLOBALLY (SURE SPOT). IF THE ARMENIAN DEV IS NOT TURNED, HE MIGHT AS WELL BE. NOTICE HIS NEW REVIEWERS FROM GOOGLE. NO PRIVACY BONE IN THEIR BODY. HAHAHA, MY WORK IS DONE HERE. EVEN THE APP IS RED, JUST NEEDS A FLAGPOLE. LET's MAKE NSA/FBI WORK EASY.

Buggy as heck. I clicked into settings and can't get back out. Where are these files being saved locally? Can't access the files directly and then move them to another computer easily for photo editing. Storage isn't expensive and that seems to be what they're selling. Edit: The dev response makes me believe that this is simply not what I am looking for in a photo app. I want encrypted photos that won't be backed up to a cloud that I can take and decrypt elsewhere.

Shortly after I downloaded the app, I started getting an error message when trying to delete photos. I give it one star because I contacted customer support over a week ago and STILL haven't gotten a response!!
